The Global Road Safety Facility (GRSF) is a global multi-donor fund managed by the World Bank. Its mission is to help governments develop road safety management capacity and scale up road safety delivery in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The GRSF provides grant funding, knowledge, and technical assistance designed to scale up the efforts of the LMICs to build their scientific, technological, managerial, and delivery capacities for road safety.

Reimagining Transport in a Post-Pandemic World

As Asia and the Pacific emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic, policymakers have an opportunity to adopt a “build forward better” approach to transport development.

Dialogue on Powered Two-Wheeler Safety and Asia-Pacific Road Safety Observatory Annual Meeting

The Asia-Pacific Road Safety Observatory (APRSO) was one of the main events at the Global Regional Road Safety Observatories Dialogue on Powered Two-Wheeler Safety and the APRSO Annual Meeting. APRSO is a regional forum that promotes road safety through data, analysis, and policy development across Asia and the Pacific. Established by international development organizations including the World Bank, ADB, Fédération Internationale de l’ Automobile (FIA), International Transport Forum (ITF), and UNESCAP—with support from the World Health Organization and UK Aid through the Global Road Safety Facility—APRSO is hosted by ADB as its secretariat.
